By using prefabricated mesh, workers were able to complete laying a foundation slab measuring 30m x 60m, in just two days.

This job involved laying raft foundation slab mesh over an area of 30 metres by 60 metres. To minimise lapping, while also allowing workers to carry the mesh sheets without the use of a crane, mesh sheets of 7.0 metres by 2.4 metres were supplied.

290 sheets of E13 mesh plus additional bars were used to complete the 30m x 60m raft foundation slab.

The mesh was manufactured in manageable 250kg sheets measuring 7.0m x 2.4m, allowing workers to lay without the use of a crane.
The completed job, featuring 70 MT of top and bottom mesh.

The entire job, which consisted of laying 290 sheets of bottom and top mesh, took 8 workers, 20 hours to complete.
